NCCWSL Grant

AAUW’s National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) is an annual conference where hundreds of young women come together for three days of leadership training, inspiration, and networking. NCCWSL has had over 10,000 student leaders in attendance since its founding more than three decades ago. In 2019, the conference brought together 800 attendees representing 48 states and over 300 colleges and universities. The diversity of backgrounds and ideas at NCCWSL is part of what makes it such a transformative experience. The workshops, panels, speakers, and activities provide endless opportunities to learn from experts, while peer networking allows you to learn from one another and make lifelong connections.

AAUW Durango awards travel grants to students who would like to participate in NCCWSL.  As part of your NCCWSL scholarship application you will become an AAUW E-Student affiliate member.  Fort Lewis College students are not charged a membership fee to join the AAUW at the student affiliate level.  NCCWSL scholarship recipients are expected to share their experiences with the AAUW Durango Branch and the FLC community upon their return, at events to be determined.
